Rahul Yadav is a highly skilled and experienced Rolling Stock professional with over 5 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning and System Engineering for metros and sub-urban trains. He is adept in Electrical schematics, Vehicle Interface Documents, system architecture for TCMS, IP/MVB address plan, Railways standards IEC-61133, IEC-61375, EN50126/EN50657, EN50129, and Requirement Engineering using IBM DOORS and Configuration management tools RTC, IBM-ALM. Currently working as a TCMS Commissioning Engineer / SYSTEM Engineer at Alstom, Rahul is the representative from the TCMS team for RRTS (Delhi – Meerut) and Agra-Kanpur project at Factory level and customer site. He is responsible for System Engineering – TCMS Architecture & Address plan (IP & MVB Network) preparation & verification on train, project follow-up with Train Control Engineer and Customer Representative for TCMS Technical Documents, writing the test specification document of Type & Routine test for TCMS sub-system, working closely with and providing technical direction to software development & Testing team, debugging the issues from train (onsite), supporting T&C Director (Factory) and Depot Manager from TCMS for commissioning activities, reporting the anomalies arising during site commissioning, and managing interface and ensuring follow-up of sub-systems (EWIS, PACIS, Testing, etc.). Prior to Alstom, Rahul has also worked as a TCMS - COMMISSIONING ENGINEER at Bombardier Transportation and a Rolling stock engineer (Electrical) at Hyundai Rotem. At Hyundai Rotem, he was responsible for attending daily meetings with DMRC officials and discussing the progress of proposed HECP, SECP, RSOI, etc., providing engineering expertise & knowledge to implement the operational performance of Metro Rolling Stock, proposing suggestions regarding RSOI & HECP to R&D team, testing and commissioning of different subsystems, verification and validation (V&V) testing, software regression and outcomes carried out in UTO trains, and failure analysis through TCMS, RTDM, ER data. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. He is highly skilled in test and software engineering and has relevant experience of 5.69 years.
