Raj Kumar Verma is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in e-commerce and digital payments. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he is a part of the FMA team responsible for engineering systems and ML algorithms that enable the Amazon product detail and search pages to select the best offer(s) that get featured on the ‘Add to Cart’ button (aka the ‘Buy Box’). He is also a part of the Shipper Experience team that simplifies on-boarding of shippers to Transportation Financial Systems for availing the financial functions. Raj has previously worked at Microsoft and Myntra as a Software Engineer. At Microsoft, he worked on azure service fabric cluster resource provisioning through ARM templates and on azure SQL resource provisioning from scratch including all security and compliance related tasks. At Myntra, he worked on the StoreFront team and added required functionality in the existing order flow services to support new tenants(ex Jabong) on the same code base. He also developed various new functionalities and features in cart/wishlist that contributed a lot towards user experience and revenue targets of Myntra/Jabong fashion sales(etc EORS). Raj holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology from IIIT Gwalior and has completed his Class 12th from Birla Senior Secondary School, Pilani, and Class 10th from Mohta Public School. He is skilled in Java and Distributed Systems and has experience working with technologies like Javascript, Search, SQL, Spring, Azure, ML, Python, Django, Redis, MySQL, Cassandra, and NodeJS. With 7.20 years of relevant experience, Raj is a strong engineering professional who is always willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
