Raj Biswas is an Electronics Engineer with a background in Radio Frequency domain and Astronomy. He is a Machine Learning enthusiast and an amateur photographer. Currently, he is working as a Graduate Research Associate at Arizona State University, where he is involved in high-speed Radio Frequency transceiver development for Astronomy application, including novel firmware design for Xilinx UltraScale ZCU111 FPGA development board. Raj has previously worked as an Electronics Engineer at Arizona State University, where he worked on FPGA firmware designs for RFSoC (Radio Frequency System on Chip) using Xilinx Vivado and as a PCB design and test engineer for mm-wave astronomy instrumentation development. In addition, he was an electronics and software development engineer for Phoenix CubeSat (nano satellite) development. He has also worked as a Visiting Scientist at CSIRO, where he worked on Digital signal processing, FPGA firmware designing, and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) mitigation. Raj holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University, which he will complete in December 2022. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Physical Sciences from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, which he completed in December 2017. Raj's technical skills include Research Scientist, Software Engineer, ML, SDET, and test. He has relevant experience of 2.95 years. Raj is passionate about space exploration and is a space enthusiast. He is also an amateur photographer and loves to capture the beauty of nature.
