Raj Desai is an experienced Software Tester and QA Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing. He has a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), which has enabled him to design, develop, and implement effective test plans and scenarios for various applications. Raj is skilled in using Gherkin language with Cucumber tool to write features, scenarios, and steps, and has extensive experience in bug detecting and reporting. He has hands-on experience in regression testing, system and unit testing, and QA manual/automation testing of client/server and web-based applications. Additionally, Raj has a good knowledge of UI/API testing and automation, and has experience in Java development and automation. Currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Escrow Infotech, Raj is responsible for reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios, executing tests on software usability, analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability, and preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out. He interacts with clients to understand product requirements, participates in design reviews, and provides input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Raj holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Uka Tarsadia University (UTU), where he completed his degree in Computer Science in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from UTU, which he completed in 2018.
