Raj Geriya is a highly skilled Backend Lead at CustomerGlu with a passion for learning new technologies and developing innovative solutions to challenging problems. With over 5.86 years of relevant experience, he has proven expertise in designing high-performance architectures and leading engineering efforts to scale up B2B SAAS platforms. Aside from his professional pursuits, Raj is a hobbyist guitarist, part-time chef, and proud cat dad to a fierce red tabby. He is also an open-source enthusiast who is always eager to contribute to the community. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at Chefling, Raj built a core recipe recommendation engine from scratch that provides personalized recommendations based on the user's pantry. He also developed highly performant APIs using Golang and Node JS for data storage, image processing third-party integrations, and real-time communication. Additionally, he led the Architecture Review Board to improve and streamline architectural changes and improvements and led a team of two to develop a React-based web app from scratch. Before joining Chefling, Raj worked as a Full Stack Developer at Digiworks Solutions, where he built and enhanced chatbots for a hotel management system and maintained a web-based cryptocurrency price tracking system across different exchanges. Raj holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) with specialization in big data analytics from Ganpat University, where he studied computer engineering. His tech stack includes expertise in Backend, NodeJS, Image Processing, Golang, and Web development, among others.
