Raj Kaimal is a seasoned engineering leader with over 21 years of experience in building highly available user experiences on mobile devices, web frameworks, web services, web security, and server/application security. He is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product and Software Engineering for Global eCommerce at Dell Technologies. Throughout his career, Raj has demonstrated a deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, Github Enterprise, content delivery networks, and event streaming. He has a proven track record of success in delivering compelling and responsive/adaptive user experiences that meet the needs of customers across the globe. In his current role at Dell, Raj is responsible for leading product and engineering for the Global eCommerce Experience Shop organization. He oversees the development of Dell's global eCommerce platform, including Learn, Shop, Cart and Checkout, Financing/Payment, Account Management, Personalization, Quality, DevOps, and Holiday experiences/Black Friday. Prior to his current position, Raj served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering and Software Engineering Director at Dell. In these roles, he led the engineering teams responsible for the global Dell.com eCommerce platform. Raj holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering. His technical expertise includes web development, DevOps, and mobile technologies.
