Raj Kamal is a highly passionate software developer with over 10 years of experience in system programming. He is currently working at Netapp in the storage domain as a Member of Technical Staff Sw 3 in the Wafl Volume Team. Raj has extensive experience in network device driver development and ULPs for HCA, which uses Infiniband in Linux from Sun Microsystems <Oracle>. He has a strong background in mathematics and computing, which has helped him develop a keen interest in data structure and algorithms, probability and statistics. Apart from his professional work, Raj is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys running, practicing yoga, and other fitness activities. He is also an avid reader, writer, dancer, guitar player, and sketch artist. Raj believes that each day is a chance to evolve and grow, and he enjoys exploring new opportunities and challenges. Raj's past experience includes working at Netapp as a Member of Technical Staff SW 2 in the WAFL team (Volume). He has also worked at Sun Microsystems <Oracle India Pvt Ltd> as a software engineer, where he worked on Infiniband-based HCA device driver development, SRIOV support, FMR creation for RDS, Verbs APIs, syncing driver changes with the kernel, providing statistics of IOPs to the user, and developing a tool for testing memory registration for HCA driver. Raj holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He completed his intermediate education in Science and Mathematics from Narayana Jr. College, Sec'bad, and his CBSE 10th Class from Scottish Public School Katihar. Raj's technical skills include software engineering and testing. With his extensive experience and expertise, Raj is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
