Raj Katira is a young and dynamic software engineer with a passion for software product management. He is skilled in both mainframe and modern web technologies, making him a versatile and valuable asset to any team. Raj completed his M.Tech in Software Engineering from VIT, Vellore, and hails from Morbi, Gujarat. Currently working as a Software Engineer 2 - z Systems Developer at Rocket Software, Raj is responsible for working on the Data Virtualization Manager product, a mainframe product. He has successfully fixed issues raised by customers and has automated the AZK (IBM product) server creation via z/OSMF. He has also worked in developing the front-end of IBM Tivoli output manager and MXI-CAE products. Prior to his current role, Raj gained experience through internships at Dhanashree and Snippt. At Dhanashree, he worked as an Intern - Wordpress Developer, where he learned Woocommerce and Wordpress and converted static websites to dynamic websites. At Snippt, he developed a landing page for the company as an Intern - Front End Web Developer. Raj's education history includes a Master's degree in Software Engineering from VIT, Vellore, which he completed in 2019. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in software engineering, web development, frontend development, and product management. With 3.87 years of relevant experience, Raj is a highly motivated and dedicated professional, always eager to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
