Raj Manik is a Manager at Tata Steel with a passion for experimentation and risk-taking. Raj has honed his working skills and become a team player through his experiences as a team member and leader. Crisis management is a skill that he has developed while leading a team, and he believes that it is a crucial skill that sets individuals apart from the crowd. Raj has spent a significant amount of time in the Entrepreneurship Cell, where he has gained knowledge about startup culture and networking. He has learned to find opportunities in adversities and has developed his problem-solving skills exponentially, making him a good fit for any organization. International relationships have always been his passion, and he has participated in various Model United Nations Conferences all over the world, gaining international exposure and learning different perspectives from different countries. Raj's academic performance is descent, and he has opened an International chapter of Material Advantage related to his branch of metallurgical and materials engineering. As the chair of the Material Advantage chapter at NITR, he has learned facts that are hard to imagine in classroom teaching. Raj has relevant experience as a Research Scientist, and he has worked as a Project Intern at TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited (formerly Tata Refractories Limited), where he understood the effects of alumina and proposed solutions for its control. He has also worked as an Internship Trainee at National Aluminium Company Limited, where he identified defects occurring via continuous rolling of aluminum sheets and suggested solutions to avoid such defects. With a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering from NIT Rourkela, Raj has a strong educational background. He is currently a Management Engineer Trainee at Tata Steel and has 1.44 years of relevant experience. Raj's skills in crisis management, problem-solving, and international relationships make him a valuable asset to any organization.
