Raj Nadaf is an accomplished Associate Lead at Lumen Technologies (CenturyLink) with over 7 years of experience in network and security operations in data centers. He is passionate about learning network concepts, troubleshooting, and automation using Python. Raj has a strong skill set that includes routing and switching protocols, data center technologies, administration of Cisco ASA firewalls, Bluecoat proxies, F5 load balancers, Cisco ISE, and Juniper pulse secure devices. He is also proficient in network tools such as HPNNMI, Backbox, CAPM, and Netflow. Raj has experience working with Cisco Meraki and Cisco Wireless (55 series WLC and WAP). Raj also troubleshoots and implements BGP connectivity with customers and OSPF connectivity within data center network infrastructure. Raj has previously worked as an SDN Meraki Architect at TCS, where he helped a retail client migrate their 800+ stores spread across the US from traditional network to SDN Meraki architecture. He analyzed the present multi-vendor, traditional architecture in the stores, designed a Meraki architecture for the stores, and performed the cutover and handover to operations team. Raj also upgraded the ASA from 9.4 to 9.12 as part of vulnerability assessment and built templates for migration and prepared SOPs. He built scripts to reduce manual work, such as pre-health check, build golden configuration template, and generating configuration and pushing to Meraki switches. Raj holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Bangalore University. He has relevant experience of 10.44 years and is skilled in infra and Python.
