Raj Shah is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in databases, Android development, HTML, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and algorithms. With a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Raj has over 8 years of relevant experience in the information technology and services industry. Currently working as a Full Stack Developer at John Deere, Raj is responsible for the development of a cloud-based connected platform for Deere equipment. He is proficient in working with AWS, Spring-Boot, React.js, Docker, Jenkins, Postgres, and other tools and technologies. Raj has extensive experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, IoT, SNS, SQS, RDS, Route53, Cloud Formation, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloud Watch, IAM, Kinesis, and SES. Prior to joining John Deere, Raj co-founded SevenRE, a consulting startup that aimed to bridge the gap between engineering technologies and academic research. He led the software development of VRN-eTarif, a ticketing system for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, and was responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure, coordinating project management, and analyzing and generating project proposals. Raj also worked as a Software Engineer/Scientific Researcher at Fraunhofer IESE (Institute for Experimental Software Engineering), where he was involved in research and development of data usage-control framework - IND2UCE, deployment and maintenance of infrastructure on AWS, and setup of DevOps pipeline on Jenkins for automated testing and deployment. Raj's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Nirma University.
