Raj Sojitra is an SDE 1 at Ola, working in the OFS and Fintech divisions. He is a graduate of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, where he studied Computer Engineering. Raj has a passion for using math and computer efficiency to solve complex problems in the world. At Ola, Raj is responsible for maintaining various products such as EMI, Postpaid+, and Wallet, which support Ola cabs and Ola electric verticals. He is actively involved in developing and maintaining the Lenders (IDFC) tech stack, changing the payment API at the core service from Mule3 to Mule4. Raj has also developed several features, including a cooling period after adding a beneficiary to the account, and active involvement in developing features like "Add Self beneficiary" and "Wallet closure." He has migrated over 200,000 users from Mastercard to Rupay Payment network under the wallet card feature. Prior to joining Ola, Raj worked as a Software Engineer at Openxcell and as a Java Developer at Emerging Five. He has experience in a wide range of technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring, AWS, Object detection, Deep Learning, QA, Redis, Docker, Javascript, MySQL, Cassandra, and Backend. Raj's education includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, where he studied Computer Engineering. He also has a Higher School Certificates degree from T. & T.V. Sarvajanik High School and a Secondary School Certificates degree from V.D.N Shah Secondary Balashram High School. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Raj is a highly skilled and motivated SDE 1 at Ola, always striving to use his knowledge and skills to solve complex problems in the world.
