Raja Balusamy is a highly experienced Software Engineering professional with over 18 years of experience in delivering global solutions. He has expertise in building and managing high-performance cross-functional teams from the ground up, having successfully managed a team of 30+ engineers in delivering high-quality products such as Samsung Knox and Samsung Health. Raja is skilled in articulating a vision, developing and executing a strategy aligned with Software Engineering needs, and driving changes at an organizational level. He is also adept at incubation and building high-performance teams, ideating and setting goals/KPIs, and developing digital workers for organizations. Raja is a natural people manager with great listening and understanding capabilities, which he successfully uses to achieve a balance between human/corporate values, objectives, goals, and priorities. He has experience in handling high-pressure critical projects, including Samsung Health and Samsung Knox, to achieve high-quality solutions. He is excellent at communicating quality status effectively at different levels, including senior leadership, peers, and other stakeholders. Raja has designed and developed various automation frameworks such as AI Test Platform, IOT Performance Testing, Android App Upgrade Testing, and Functional Automation Tools. He has also participated in sprint planning meetings and daily stand-ups, working with teams to mitigate any blockers and adopt to changing needs in a fast-moving environment to ensure quality deliveries and meeting commitments. Raja has worked extensively in Continuous Integration concepts (CI) and streamlined the CI Process. He has developed a hardware robot for health features validation and received an award for innovation. He is an expert in Robotic Process Automation and is the Head of RPA deployment at SRI-B. He organized the Software Engineering Summit 2020, the first time it was held in Samsung. He has also organized several innovation events at Samsung Research Institute India. Raja holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Anna University and a GMITE degree in Business Administration and Management from IIM. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree from Karnataka Jobs and Careers India. Raja's technical skills include AI, Senior Software Engineer, test, Mobile, CI/CD, Android, Research Scientist, and Integration. With his relevant experience of 18.96 years, Raja is currently serving as a Staff Engineering Manager - Tech Sensing, SE Team at Samsung.
