Raja Jayaraman is a seasoned Co-Founder at Growfin.ai, with over 20 years of experience in building SaaS applications. He has a strong consumer business acumen and the ability to architect solutions in tune with customer needs. Raja has led and built a team of talented engineers in a fast-paced dynamic environment, delivering successful products from the development organization. In his previous role as Senior Engineering Manager at Freshworks, Raja headed the engineering team for Freshcaller product, scaled the team from 5 to 40 engineers in 18 months, and implemented a feature-based team methodology that resulted in increased engineering team velocity of shipping features. He also set processes for L2 support, development life cycle starting from requirement gathering to prod release, and automated most of the manual work. As an Engineering Manager at Freshworks, Raja launched Freshconnect product in 3 months starting from requirement gathering to production release, program managed integrating Freshconnect with two other freshworks products, and developed the entire product in war mode with a team of 6 engineers. He also built a scalable Identity and access management system for Freshworks products and integrated with 7 freshworks products, coordinating with all product stakeholders to adapt and integrate FreshID, and leading a 5 member engineering team. Raja has strong process and result orientation, experience in customer interfacing and requirements gathering, and has represented the group in multiple cross-functional management forums regarding technical, product, and incident topics. He owned the planning and execution of product development for successful delivery in a collaborative environment. Raja holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication from Thiagarajar College, and he completed his secondary education at Vivekananda Higher Secondary School. He has expertise in AI, Senior Software Engineering, QA, and Product Management.
