Raja Madhavan is a seasoned Platforms Head and Principal Architect with over 24 years of experience in the software industry. Currently, he holds the position of Platforms Head and Principal Architect at vunet systems, where he is responsible for deployments, diagnostics, reusable solutions, customer engagement, and observability. He is an expert in AIOps, data analytics, correlation, RCA, logs, and unified visibility, with proficiency in ELK, Python, Django, Kafka, Redis, Docker, K8S, and more. Raja has successfully led several customer trials and production deployments, and he is also a Principal Consultant for QA and Test Automation. He has extensive experience in continuous integration, automated software builds, and deployment. He has developed several solutions, scripts, and utilities to enhance productivity and reduce triage time. Prior to vunet systems, Raja worked at Infosys as a Senior Architect - QA, Automation, and Performance Testing for Apple Inc. He supported multiple projects as a senior QA architect and portfolio manager, leading a team of 70+ engineers working on testing Apple's enterprise apps comprising web, desktop, and iOS apps with external and internal end customers. He was responsible for automation design and re-architecture, code coverage and static analysis, and automation test cycle reduction. Raja also managed and improved the in-house developed QA framework and Jenkins environment. He evaluated the latest QA tools and technologies and onboarded them. He has worked with tools such as Python, Perl, Selenium, Instruments, Appium, Raft(proprietary), Java Junits, TestNG, Jenkins, Ant, JaCoCo, Emma, and static analysis tools. Raja started his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at India Cements - Tandur. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from VIT. Raja has a strong tech stack, including senior software engineering, test, QA, Python, Selenium, Jenkins, CI/CD, SDET, Redis, Docker, Kafka, integration, Django, iOS, and web.
