Rajamohan Jabbala, also known as Raj, is a seasoned engineering leader and passionate entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in the retail and telecom industries. He is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering at Clear, India's largest tax and financial services software platform for individuals, tax experts, SMEs, and enterprises. Prior to his current role, Raj worked at Amazon as a Software Development Manager, where he launched several innovative products, including a voice-enabled video purchases platform in Alexa Prime Video, a long-range planning and optimization product called Clairvoyant, and a UPS carrier program in the US marketplace. He also developed a content management system for automating program onboarding, reducing the onboarding time from 6 months to 1 month. Raj was instrumental in team adoption of true agile methodology for product development, leading to consistent velocity of ~3.22. Before joining Amazon, Raj founded a startup called Aurospaces, which provides turnkey execution platforms with local neighborhood technology catering to the home interiors market. He built and led a 40-member team from ground zero, acquired 100,000 customers and 30,000 service providers in 22 categories, and scaled to four cities PAN India with revenues of USD 200,000 in the first 12 months. Raj improved customer satisfaction by 50% with his patent on "Elastic Neighborhood technology" to optimize supply for a given demand point. Raj graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He is skilled in software engineering, senior software engineering, and Android development. Raj is a very good team player with a love for dogs, sports, and trekking. He completed a Himalayan trekking of 200 kilometers in 10 days and a Paris-Brest-Paris cyclothon of 200 and 300 kilometers in 8 and 13 hours, respectively, well within time without any support system.
