Rajan Girsa is a Research Assistant at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology in Delhi. With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIIT Delhi, he has gained 4.28 years of relevant experience. Rajan is passionate about improving public transportation, and his work experience reflects this passion. Previously, Rajan worked as an Android Developer at Chartr, where he was the lead on the Android app and also worked on creating an API that interacts with the app. Chartr is working on creating a platform that helps users get information about public transport, including real-time bus location, A to B using Delhi Metro, and A to B using DIMTS buses. The ultimate goal is to integrate last-mile connectivity options along with the existing ones. Rajan's experience at Chartr has given him a deep understanding of the challenges associated with public transportation and how technology can be leveraged to improve it. Rajan has also worked as an Android Developer at Rotaract Club of New Delhi, where he created two Android applications. One of the applications was an admin app that could be used to mark attendance of members and add/update necessary details like team members, new users, gallery, slideshow images, events, generate QR for attendance, etc. The other application was the user-end of the Rota Actor application, which comprises user details like profile, attendance count and attendance QR, past and upcoming events, team members, etc. Rajan's tech stack includes Research Scientist and Android. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to improve public transportation. With his passion for technology and his experience in the field, Rajan is well-equipped to take on any challenge in the public transportation sector.
