Rajashekhar MB is a highly experienced and versatile leader, technologist, startup entrepreneur, and product innovator with nearly 19 years of relevant experience. With a strong background in Java, Golang, Python, Microservices, AWS, MySQL, Dynamo, Docker, K8s, Consul, Gitlab, Jenkins, Android, Android TV, Kotlin, React, gRPC, NewRelic, Kibana, Argo CD, and Kafka, he has a solid foundation in designing and developing complex software systems. Rajashekhar has extensive experience in product and system design, including client-server, n Tier, middleware, monolith, and microservices architectures. He has worked in a variety of domains, including OTT, streaming, STBs, banking, retail, e-commerce, supply-chain, and telecom. He is also well-versed in agile, SAFe, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native, SRE, SLO/SLA/SLIS, and observability and monitoring. Currently working as a Principal Engineer at Dish Network, Rajashekhar is responsible for architecture and design for developing the EPG metadata content management solution as a service. He is also leading the effort to convert the existing monolith architecture stack to microservice architecture, adopting CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native, SRE, and SLO/SLA/SLIs, and ensuring high availability with auto-scalable secure services. In the past, Rajashekhar has worked as a Senior Technical Lead at Echostar Corporation, where he was the technical lead for building the Android TV STBs for SlingTV. He has also worked as a Technical Solutions Consultant at Sling Media, where he helped revamp the existing code to enhance the Android application performance and increase stability. Rajashekhar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Mysore University College and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davanagere. He is highly skilled in Android, CI/CD, SRE, microservices, DevOps, AWS, senior software engineering, New Relic, Docker, MySQL, Kafka, Jenkins, and integration.
