Rajat Kumar Jenamani is a final year undergraduate student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. With a passion for solving impactful real-life problems, Rajat has gained experience in various fields through his internships and projects. Currently, Rajat is a Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is working on the topic of Tree-Based Search for Generation of Stable Stacks of Irregular Objects. His research areas include Search-Based Planning, Task Planning, Lazy Search, and Physics-Based Simulations. Prior to this, Rajat worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft, where he enhanced the Actionable Messages Approval Process. He worked on improving the on-boarding experience of global partners by reducing the manual touch-points involved, which led to better resource utilization and operation excellence. Rajat has also worked as a Research Intern at the University of Washington, where he focused on enabling simultaneous motion planning of multiple high dimensional manipulators. His research areas included Multi-Agent Path-Finding, Lazy Search, and Motion Planning. Rajat's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He is also an ACM ICPC Regionalist for 2018 and 2019. With a relevant experience of 1.95 years, Rajat's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Software Engineer, and Search. He is a driven and dedicated individual with a keen interest in solving real-world problems and making a positive impact on society.
