Rajat Agrawal is a seasoned technology leader with over 10 years of experience in delivering web and mobile-based solutions. Currently, he is serving as the Chief Technological Officer at Lal10. He has a passion for developing complete product solutions and likes to work in all spheres of product development, including design, UX, development, data analysis, and QA. He is motivated to work harder by making software that solves real problems and brings delight to people's faces. Rajat has a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gujarat, India. He completed his high school education from Delhi Public School, Ahmedabad. In the past, Rajat has led the development of a state-of-the-art news and video feed iOS app for Dainik Bhaskar, a prominent newspaper in India. The iOS app is among the top news apps on the App Store, and Dainik Bhaskar is the third-largest newspaper in Asia by distribution. He has also worked as a senior iOS engineer at Hike Messenger, a home-grown leading messaging app in India with 1 million messages sent every day. Here, he got the opportunity to build many user-facing features and refactor core functionalities of the chat modules. Previously, Rajat was based in Cupertino, California, where he built internal apps and tools for Apple Accessories team. These products are used by QA teams across the company to test upcoming accessories and ensure that they delight Apple customers. HomeKit Accessory Simulator, shipped with Xcode additional tools, is one of the publicly available software products that he worked upon here. Rajat's contributions to the open-source community include being the author of an open-source gem, db_obfuscation, that helps obtain a production-size test database for internal user acceptance and stress testing. He has also been published in the Computer Human Interaction (CHI) conference for developing mobile games that help kids learn English while playing them. Currently, Rajat is working as a Lead Engineer at db digital, where he is leading the development of the new iOS app from scratch and shipping it within four months. He is also mentoring a team of two developers working on other features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to evolve architecture and product development priorities.
