Rajat Arora is an experienced software engineer and machine learning engineer with a passion for tackling new challenges. With 3 years of research and engineering experience in computer vision, AI, machine learning, and systems, Rajat has published works in IEEE ICCP and WACV. He is currently a machine learning engineer at LinkedIn, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models to improve the platform's user experience. Rajat is a versatile engineer with expertise in a wide range of programming languages, including Python, C, Java, Scala, C++, Go, and Javascript. He is also well-versed in various frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch, OpenGL, and D3js. His experience includes computational photography, GAN, optical flow, reinforcement learning, contrastive learning, NLP, and systems engineering. Rajat is always eager to take on new challenges and is open to working on projects that he hasn't yet explored. He is a visiting scholar at the University of California, Davis, where he worked on video generation models and generating videos from a single GIF under Prof Yong Jae Lee. His work was published in WACV 2021. Rajat also served as a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where he worked on computer vision and computational photography and published work in the IEEE International Conference on Computational Photography 2019. He spearheaded a project on Capsule Networks during his time there. Rajat holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, which he expects to complete in June 2022. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (honours) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he earned in 2017. With 4.19 years of relevant experience, Rajat is a well-rounded engineer with expertise in ML, software engineering, reinforcement learning, computer vision, research science, AI, GAN, OpenCV, NLP, Spark, Javascript, TensorFlow, Hadoop, Elastic Search, Kafka, Pytorch, Python, Scala, and Java.
