Rajat Chandak is an experienced Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing scalable and resilient systems. His key interest areas lie in Distributed Systems, microservices based architecture and implementations. Rajat has designed and delivered applications in Agile environment with the help of XP practices (TDD, Pairing, CI/CD). He always looks forward to learning and applying clean code and OOP practices. Currently, Rajat is working as a Technical Lead at colearn. In his previous role as a Product Engineer at Gojek, he worked on a high availability solution for Postgres on one of the core services for managing bookings to minimize uncertain downtimes and business impact. He also worked on backend solutions for re-defining the pickup experience for customers. At N26, Rajat was a Software Engineer, where he developed core transaction and payment processing services to handle highly increasing customer base and transaction volume. Rajat's technical skills include Backend development, Distributed Systems, REST, Scalability, Performance, Java, Spring boot, SQL and NoSQL's (Postgres, DynamoDB), AWS, Docker, consul, refactoring, TDD. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering.
