Rajat Choudhary is a highly skilled software engineer and designer with a passion for innovation and cutting-edge technology. Currently serving as the Head of Software Department at DTU-AUV, he is responsible for leading a team of 9 members and building the software stack for control and vision of AUV. With over 1 year of relevant experience, Rajat has demonstrated his expertise in implementing vision algorithms for the vehicle using OpenCV based Feature Matching for their latest vehicle Lapras 2.0. He has also set up an underwater vehicle simulation environment in UWSim, which has enabled the software department to work on vehicle controls even before a physical vehicle is ready, reducing the vehicle development time by 40%. In addition to his work at DTU-AUV, Rajat has also served as the Head of Design Department at INNOVA DTU, where he led a team of 15+ designers and video editors. His exceptional leadership skills and technical knowledge have helped him to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Rajat holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Delhi Technological University, where he is currently pursuing his degree and is expected to graduate in 2023. He also attended Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Rohini Sector 11, Delhi from 2016 to 2019. With a strong background in ML, Research Science, and design, Rajat is a valuable asset to any team. His technical skills include expertise in SVM, and he is always eager to learn and explore new technologies. Rajat is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation and a drive to succeed.
