Rajat Gedam is a Computer Science Graduate student at the University of Massachusetts with about 3 years of work experience in software development. He is well-versed in web technologies like NodeJs and Angular and has worked on building APIs involved with a major UCaaS provider, using C# and vb.NET. Rajat has experience with SQL database systems and can write detailed documentations with tools such as Confluence and Swagger in a hands-on context. He has a good understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures and Software Design using Object-Oriented Concepts (C++, Java). Rajat has the ability to quickly grasp new and interesting concepts, strong ability to understand existing code base by efficient debugging, code analysis and by asking the right questions. Currently, Rajat is working as an Application Developer at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where he is developing a database application for tracking student degree requirements. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Manager at UMassD Fitness Center where he assisted the Fitness Center Director in the overall management of the facility and managed the fitness center facility including sales, inventory, and property control. He also supervised 15+ work-study students and maintained the latest information about the Athletic Department. Rajat's past experience also includes working as a Software Analyst - SDE 2 at Yardi Kube. He is now eagerly looking for full-time opportunities in the field of Software Engineering with a dynamic organization having a decent learning curve. Rajat holds a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology. He also completed his High School from Dharampeth Science College, Nagpur and Primary and Middle School from Modern School, Nagpur. Rajat's tech stack includes SQL, Software Engineer, dotNET, Web, NodeJS, Java, and AngularJS.
