Rajat Gupta is a Director of Engineering and SoC Manager at Intel Corporation with over 22 years of experience in the semiconductor design industry. His expertise spans across various domains and roles, including SoC project management, managing logic, verification, and physical design teams, building high-performing teams, and developing managerial and technical leadership skills. Currently, Rajat is the SoC Manager for Intel's Next Generation Discrete Graphics SoCs, where he manages the SoC project in the next-generation Discrete Graphics group. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the successful development and delivery of Intel's next-gen graphics SoCs. Prior to joining Intel, Rajat worked at Freescale Semiconductors as a Design Manager, where he led a 16-member team in the Microcontroller Solutions Group (MSG), Noida. He was responsible for the chip architecture and chip verification, including interface with Sys Arch, Platform & IP, Verification, Mix-Sig, DFT, Synthesis, STA, and APR teams. He also led the low power champion team for cellular products group (CPG) in Freescale Noida, where he was responsible for defining and implementing low power designs for CPG Noida SoCs. Before Freescale, Rajat worked at Cadence Design Systems as a Sr Member of Technical Staff, where he technically led a 6-member team engaged in design and verification of IPs. He also worked on chip-level static timing analysis (STA) and mentored new hires in the Tality India Design Center. Rajat holds a BE degree in Engineering from NSIT, where he graduated in 1998. He has also acquired relevant experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Integration, and Software Engineer. Rajat's tech stack includes various skills and technologies that he has acquired over the years.
