Rajat Gupta is a Senior Tech Lead at Rakuten India Ex Zivame with over 10 years of relevant experience in design, development, architecture, orchestration, and implementation of scalable products. He is a problem solver with technical expertise and a firm believer in the philosophy of Always Improve Always Advance. Rajat constantly challenges himself, keeping his inquisitiveness alive, and loves debugging problems from the root rather than providing an alternate way. He is fluent in PHP and its various frameworks such as Lavavel, CakePHP, Zend, and Magento. Rajat is also proficient in Java-based stack technologies such as Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Tomcat, and Jetty. He has experience with some DevOps skills such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, and Jenkins. His database concepts are pretty decent, and he has worked with RDBMS such as MySQL, Redshift, and Oracle. Rajat also has experience with MongoDB and is exploring more on NoSQL databases. He has experience with database version management tools such as Flyway and GoLang Migrate. Rajat's current title is Technical Architect at Rakuten, and he has remarkable experience exhibiting technical leadership. He has also managed people and built high-performing teams, mentoring lots of individuals. Apart from this, he has also played the role of an individual contributor. He is a fun-loving person who brings lots of joy and fun to the workplace. In his free time, Rajat loves to play Chess and occasionally plays Guitar. Rajat completed his B.Tech in Information Technology from Kanpur Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 2012. He also holds a degree in Intermediate from BNSD Inter College and High School from PVMHS.
