Rajat Jain is an experienced Software Test Engineer with over 6 years of experience in a product-based startup in manual and automation testing. He is currently working as a Senior Software Test Engineer at FarEye, where he is responsible for ensuring the end-to-end product quality of critical services using an automation framework built using Selenium Web Driver with Java. Rajat has extensive experience in automation framework, REST API, Selenium Web-driver, Java, TestNG, BDD, JMeter, PostgreSQL, Postman API, Web Manual Testing, Android Testing, and Test Project Automation. He has created test cases for smoke, regression, and functional testing for critical services on Google Sheets and Xray (Atlassian JIRA). Rajat has also performed API testing for services using Postman and extensively checked logs on Grafana (open observability platform) on a day-to-day basis to add logs while logging bugs. At FarEye, Rajat has worked single-handedly on newly built label generation core services of FarEye's Intelligent Delivery platform, carrier allocation service, and rate calculation service. He has also conducted bug bash of carrier allocation service single-handedly before go-live to ensure that there is no bug leakage in February 2022. In his previous roles at FarEye, Rajat worked as a Software Test Engineer and Software Quality Analyst. He has worked on FarEye's core MOBI service for test case creation and execution of smoke, regression, and functional testing. Rajat has also trained many resources in this tenure and performed mobile app testing of business flows of FarEye mobile APK for end drivers. He has worked on FarEye's standard product "Delivery Template" from its scratch to the final go-live as a major resource. Rajat holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Bundelkhand University. He is proficient in test, SDET, web, Selenium, Java, mobile, Postgres, UI, QA, Android, and Senior Software Engineer.
