Rajat Jain is a highly skilled and accomplished Masters Research student at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) with a strong background in computer science. He has a proven track record of success, having achieved an AIR 205 GATE-2019 score and worked as a Software Engineer at Arista Networks and as a Software Intern at Morgan Stanley. Currently, Rajat is pursuing his Masters (Research) in Computer Systems Lab, CSA at the Indian Institute of Science, where he is utilizing his expertise in research and software engineering to conduct in-depth studies of computer systems. He is highly proficient in implementing network protocols, enhancing QoS features, and implementing traffic management layers for L2 and L3 subinterfaces. Prior to his current role, Rajat worked as a Software Engineer at Arista Networks, where he was responsible for implementing network protocols and enhancing QoS features like priority-flow-control, shaping-scheduling, etc. He also added shaping-scheduling features for L2 and L3 subinterfaces. Before that, he was a Software Intern at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on the Risk Aggregation team and was responsible for developing software in Java for Greenplum Database and Hazelcast (distributed caching). Rajat holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science from IISc and a B.E. (Hons) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also has a strong educational background, having completed his Higher Secondary education in Mathematics from Nalanda Academy and his Secondary School education in Science from Trinity Convent School. Rajat is a highly skilled Research Scientist, Software Engineer, and Java developer, with 3.87 years of relevant experience. He is a hardworking and dedicated individual who is committed to achieving excellence in his field.
