Rajat Jain is a passionate software developer currently working at Tower Research Capital, one of the world's leading quantitative trading firms. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Rajat has a knack for building complex software systems and contributing to open-source projects. During his tenure at Tower Research Capital, Rajat has been working with the North Moore team, which is the third-largest trading team in the company. As a software developer, he has been responsible for creating a parity framework to compare builds of various projects across various build tools like CMake and Premake. He has also built a generic framework to compare build-variants with different compilers such as gcc, icc, and clang. Rajat has worked with neo4j and elastic stack to create visual dashboards to be used across Tower for comparing builds. He has also worked with Jenkins and Gitlab CI/CD to automate the distribution of the python package and builds of various C++ repositories. Prior to joining Tower Research Capital, Rajat worked as a research intern at American Express, where he worked with Tensorflow, PyTorch, MXNet, and other distributed deep learning systems on top of Horovod to create a recommender system that determines which libraries are suitable for programming DDL algorithms in enterprise data modeling settings. He deployed the recommender system across AmEx and is currently writing a systems journal paper detailing the design of the system. Rajat holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed his high school education in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ryan International School. Apart from his professional work, Rajat is an IT enthusiast who loves reading, debating, and creative writing. He has a deep interest in software engineering, research, deep learning, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Neo4j, CI/CD, Python, and Jenkins. Rajat is an asset to any team he works with, and his passion for building new things and contributing to open-source projects makes him a valuable addition to any organization.
