Rajat K. is an experienced engineer with a passion for platforms. He has a demonstrated history of working in multiple tech industries and is skilled in Big data tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Falcon, Lens, etc. Rajat is fluent in multiple programming languages, including Java, Scala, Python, JS, and Bash. He is a strong tech professional with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIT Delhi. Currently, Rajat works as an Architect at Prophecy.io, where he leads the development of their SaaS Data Platform. His past experience includes working as a Founding Engineer at Sprinkle Data and a Technical Lead at InMobi. At Sprinkle Data, Rajat worked on a wide spectrum of problems for their SaaS Data Platform, including product, platform, and customer success/operations. He designed a framework for creating dynamic forms for entities having a hybrid schema and a functional framework based on reactive streams for running and monitoring hierarchical tasks. He also led the effort to embed Jupyter Notebooks in the product to enable advanced exploratory analyses. At InMobi, Rajat led a team of three in building a generalized Summarization Framework for big data. He also explored and benchmarked existing software offerings for model serving frameworks and was involved in the development of an in-house ML model serving framework. Additionally, he was involved in building auto-scalability in Apache Yarn on top of Azure's cloud platform with the help of containerization.
