Rajat Kalsotra is a highly motivated and goal-oriented Software Engineer with a passion for exploring the latest technologies. He has hands-on experience in Web development, Machine Learning, Deep learning, and Flutter app development. Rajat is constantly learning and strives to acquire new skills every day. Currently working as a Software Engineer 1 at microfocus, Rajat has gained valuable experience in software development. Prior to this, he worked as an R&D Intern at microfocus and as an ML Intern at truminds software systems. At truminds software systems, Rajat was involved in a project that focused on neighbourhood surveillance automation with automated detection and recognition of vehicles and their respective licence plates on their entry into the society premises. He also worked on designing an OBD device simulator for testing purposes, pre-processing images for better OCR results, automated template matching, finding the closest result, and its classification. Additionally, he designed a database model on MongoDB and developed a firebase-based notification system for respective admins on vehicle entries and exits. Rajat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, where he gained a strong foundation in software engineering. He also holds a 12th-grade degree in Physical Sciences from Sainik School Nagrota. Rajat's technical skills include Software Engineering, Web development, Machine Learning, Flutter, Deep Learning, testing, and MongoDB. With 2.11 years of relevant experience, he is well-equipped to take on challenging projects and deliver high-quality results.
