Rajat Khandelwal is an experienced Software Engineer with a focus on backend and distributed system technologies. With over 4 years of experience, he has an excellent knowledge of Java and has worked extensively on developing robust applications to enforce access control. Currently, he is an Engineering Associate (SDE-ll) at Goldman Sachs, where he is responsible for developing cutting-edge software solutions. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Rajat worked at FICO as a Software Engineer - II (Backend). During his tenure, he designed and implemented a SaaS microservice architecture for migrating Scoring Solution to AWS with accounting transactions in distributed environments using database locking mechanisms, authentication, centralized logging, cloud monitoring, load balancing, caching, and licensing. He also worked with the Analytics Team on a Credit Scoring Solution based on TELCO data, where he created Spark Jobs to extract, aggregate consumer information from big data and provided useful predictive characteristics to Data Scientists for modeling. He coded and audited predictive characteristics and scoring models, improving performance by over 50% by introducing a Spark Driver for long and data-intensive scoring jobs. Rajat has a Master's of Computer Applications (MCA) from VIT and a Bachelor's of Computer Application from Modi Institute of Management & Technology.
