Rajat Kumar is a Senior Software Engineer at NI (National Instruments) with over 11 years of experience in software R&D, project management, and recruitment. He has a proven track record of leading multiple features of a product and various tools. Rajat is an analytical thinker, collaborative, deliberative, achiever, and problem solver. He ensures that team commitments are met while maintaining harmony through agile practices and continuous learning. In the past, Rajat has worked as a Software Group Manager and Advanced Staff Software Engineer at National Instruments. As a Software Group Manager, he was responsible for feature planning, workflow design, process compliance, scrum, and plan for future releases. He also managed people's careers, resource management, skills development, and understood the needs of people to increase their happiness index. As an Advanced Staff Software Engineer, he owned projects to enable test methods and strategies for LabVIEW driver teams. He streamlined and improved scrum processes and velocity and managed projects to create/save/re-generate VM images, reducing the time to set up and configure infrastructure components by 1/10th, making the test automated and infrastructure consistent. Rajat has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi.
