Rajat Sainju is a highly motivated Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, with a keen interest in the applications of Deep Learning in Electron Microscopy. Rajat's past experience includes serving as a Site Manager at Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he was responsible for managing staffing, site infrastructure, and cost/utilization expectations. He also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where he was involved in characterizing Diamond-Like Carbon and Amorphous Magnetic Alloy Thin Films. Rajat's responsibilities included studying the structure, electronic and optical properties of DLC and Amorphous Magnetic Alloy thin films using broadband infrared spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy. Rajat's educational background is impressive, having completed his Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where he is currently employed. Prior to this, he completed his BS in Engineering Physics and Computer Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Rajat also completed his schooling from Budhanilkantha School. Rajat's technical skills include expertise in Deep Learning and infra, making him a valuable asset to any team he works with.
