Rajat Sharma is a Software Engineer with a passion for Backend Development and a wide range of skills that extend from UI design to creating and deploying Docker Containers. With 2.20 years of relevant experience, he enjoys solving complex problems with code. Currently, he works at JP Morgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer, where he has been involved in the migration of old applications to use strategic OAuth and passwordless mechanisms for better security and modernization. He also works on adding new features to React and Python-based Regulatory Web Applications essential to the Operations Team to help with the regulatory requirements imposed by different regulatory bodies like CFTC, OFAC, etc. Rajat is also designing and implementing a Data Reporting API for Redshift from the ground up on AWS. Previously, Rajat worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Jumbotail, where he implemented a GPS-based asset tracking system. His responsibilities included implementing a REST API to receive and process GPS data, creating a functional UI to visualize and filter assets on a map using Mapbox, adding support to add a geofence and a preset route for an asset, implementing a route anomaly detection algorithm, providing real-time notifications on geofence and preset route breach, and tracking assets in real-time with the help of Socket Programming and MongoDB Change Streams. He also deployed and dockerized the application. Rajat also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Webinarwall, where he coded from scratch the website webinarwall.com. He was involved in designing and implementing the frontend of the application, writing backend code along with database design for event creation, storage, and display, developing a robust user registration system with email verification, password reset functionality, etc., integrating Razorpay Payment Gateway for event payments, setting up a Blogging System for the website, creating a User Management Console for easy editing and retrieval of website data, and deploying the website and setting up backups. Rajat holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. He has experience working with a variety of technologies, including AWS, Javascript, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Flask, MongoDB, Java, ReactJS, MySQL, Terraform, and DevOps.
