Rajat Sharma is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Voice Recognition Research and Development. He studied Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar, with a specialization in Information Technology. Rajat has worked with Samsung R&D Bangalore on the design and development of the Bixby Service and Tizen Platform. He has worked on the development of the wakeup services of Bixby, particularly Multi Device Wakeup and OnDevice, which includes the Tizen Watch, Phone, and Galaxy Home Speaker. He has also worked on developing the Tizen Engine, Tizen Bixby Embedded Execution Service, Ondevice Intelligence, and Sound Intelligence. Rajat specializes in non-speech sound processing using Deep Learning solutions such as acoustic scenes, sound events, sound source separation, etc. Rajat’s software development skills are complemented by his expertise in NLP and his ability to analyze data on voice and language generated by humans. He has experience working as a Research Scientist and has a relevant experience of 4.78 years. Currently, Rajat is a Student Ambassador at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where he is pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science.
