Rajat Toshniwal is a seasoned cloud engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in designing and developing hybrid cloud solutions for complex systems. Currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at GS Lab, Rajat is responsible for developing a Hybrid Cloud Solution that offers public and private cloud services on a single platform. He has extensive experience in Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and has worked on defect fixing and L3 for IBM CLOUD ORCHESTRATOR. Rajat has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and has worked as a Project Intern at TCS in the past. During his internship, he worked on parallelization and optimization of a sequential software using CUDA-C on a Nvidia GPU. He has also gained detailed understanding of OpenStack and its components, experience in virtualization - Hypervisors- KVM, VMware. Rajat has experience in developing Cloud Solutions using REST APIs in NodeJS, Python, Golang and has worked on microservices development using Docker and Kubernetes. He has used Terraform and Azure Resource Manager to deploy public cloud resources and has created an adapter using NodeJS for IBM Cloud Brokerage that acts as middleware and facilitates deploying cloud resources and services on Azure Cloud.
