Rajat Tripathi is a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer currently working at Pinecone. With a passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning, Rajat has gained extensive experience in building vector databases, vector search applications, embedding methods, and ANN algorithms. Before joining Pinecone, Rajat gained valuable experience as an AIOps Intern at Red Hat where he worked on a project aimed at streamlining ML pipelines and making projects more accessible and visible across the organization. During his time at Red Hat, Rajat created a BERT-based sentiment analysis model on proprietary data and public data, which he supplemented with interpretability models from IntrepretML. He also worked on deploying models via OpenShift and focused on standardizing the deployment process for the AI org. Additionally, Rajat worked with the team to advertise their work by working on blogs and other mediums. Rajat also worked as a Machine Learning Solutions Engineer at BU Spark, Boston University's experience lab and incubator, where he handled projects from NGOs, academia, and government organizations. During his time at BU Spark, Rajat led more than 10 projects through scoping, definition, data collection, model development, and deployment. He also worked on data collection, web scraping, creating datasets from different sources, and model development, serving, and interpretability. Rajat holds a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology. He also completed his High School education from Jamshedpur Public School. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Rajat is highly skilled in software engineering, ML, BERT, sentiment analysis, search, AI, Spark, and web technologies.
