Rajeev Bharshetty is a Senior Engineering Manager at GoTo Financial, where he leads the Payment experience pod in the Payments team. With many years of experience leading numerous engineering teams, Rajeev brings expertise in solving complex technological, product, and people problems. He firmly practices the servant leadership model for leading teams and likes to solve complex distributed system problems. Rajeev's current role involves making payments fast, reliable, and safe. He works on integrating with merchant partners across on-demand services, offline and online modes, and payment providers to enable customers to have the flexibility to choose their preferred payment method. His team aims to achieve higher payment acceptance rates for their merchants. Prior to his current role, Rajeev led a team that built the ledger and transaction pipeline for all Gopay wallet-related transactions at GoTo Financial. He also worked at Gojek as a Technical Lead, where he built pricing abstraction and helped build payment and growth-related features for transport products. Rajeev holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He also completed his Pre-University Board from Shree Guru Pu Science College and his primary education from St. Mary's School. Apart from his work, Rajeev is an active contributor to the technology and engineering management community. He writes about technology and engineering management on his website and gives conference talks on various topics. He also maintains a Github profile where he shares his code.
