Rajeev Irny is an experienced Applied Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning and working with Samsung Research at IIT Madras. With over 3.61 years of relevant experience, he has built, deployed, and maintained AI models for Camera App in Samsung Galaxy Flagship Smartphones (S20, S21, S22) used by approximately 2 million consumers. Rajeev is skilled in understanding requirements and designing AI solutions for image restoration tasks such as image denoising and low-light light enhancement by collaborating with cross-functional teams. He is also well-versed in exploring and incorporating the latest deep learning techniques to improve model performance. As a valued team player, Rajeev has received an Annual Award for his key contributions in building an AI-based denoising model for ExpertRaw Application. He is currently working as a Lead Engineer with Samsung, where he is part of the AI Image Restoration team.
