Rajeev Ranjan is a seasoned technical leader with over 12 years of industry experience in building, leading, and managing software development teams in a global delivery model. He has a proven track record of successfully building and managing highly effective development teams that drive innovation and enterprise-wide technology solutions. Rajeev is a strategic thinker with a flair for charting out strategies to enhance business volume and growth, and his experience spans across a wide spectrum of industries like eCommerce, Security, Hyperlocal, Identity, Supply Chain, and Payments. Rajeev has successfully executed mission-critical programs by partnering with multiple business groups, and his experience includes building roadmap/vision, scheduling, resource allocation, prioritization, risk analysis, execution, project tracking, and reporting. He has experience working in the complete software development life cycle, including architecture, design, development, and implementation. Rajeev is also experienced in leading cross-functional teams that are geographically distributed with diverse technical backgrounds. Currently, Rajeev is the Co-Founder of a stealth startup, where he is leveraging his experience to build a successful venture. Prior to this, he worked as the Director of Engineering at Swiggy, where he led the RnG (Revenue and Growth) charter, managing five teams across Hyderabad and Bangalore. He owned the bottom line/top line metrics and bootstrapped the Swiggy Hyderabad Dev Center. He was responsible for hiring the team, IT setup, logistics, and creating a Swiggy valued culture. Before Swiggy, Rajeev worked as a Senior Software Development Manager at Amazon. Rajeev completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology in 2009. He is a software engineer and a senior software engineer with relevant experience of 13.70 years. Rajeev's extensive experience in performance management of mission-critical high-volume systems makes him a valuable asset to any organization looking to build and manage highly effective development teams.
