Rajeev Shorey is a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer with over 28 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is currently serving as the CEO of University of Queensland - IIT Delhi Academy of Research (UQIDAR), where he is responsible for executing the vision of the academy. UQIDAR is aimed at attracting the best global talent, including elite students, academics, researchers, and scientists to work on cross-disciplinary grand challenges that are of interest to Australia, India, and the global community. Shorey has an impressive educational background, having completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Communication Networks, a Master of Science (M.S) in Parallel & Distributed Computing Systems, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science & Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from St. Stephen's College and completed his schooling from Delhi Public School. Shorey has worked with several renowned organizations in the past, including TCS Innovation Labs, where he served as a Principal Scientist/Researcher. His areas of expertise include Research Scientist, Mobile, ML, Neural Networks, Object detection, Web, Computer Vision, AI, Object Detection, Deep Learning, test, Pytorch, Software Engineer, Python, and Kotlin.
