Rajeev Vishnu is a Senior Software Engineer at Soroco with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong background in coding and is proficient in multiple programming languages such as Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, and JavaScript. He has a Dual Degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur, a Master of Science in Financial Markets and Investments from SKEMA Business School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager. Rajeev started his career as a Product Engineer at WeInvest and later transitioned to Software Engineering when the WFH culture started. He has worked on multiple projects and has experience in building pipelines, adding workflows for cash and holdings management, migrating data, automating retry from point of failure, adding fee computation logic, and integrating with various systems. He has also worked on building order generation algorithms, UI design, and integrating with AllFunds, FundConnext, Kasikorn Bank, and Saxo. At Soroco, Rajeev is responsible for building a structured view of how teams get work done across people, processes, technology, and documents. He is also responsible for creating strategies to deal with large volumes of data to improve performance and supports deployments of existing clients. He has grown from a dabbler to a professional engineer and has onboarded new engineers into the team. He has been given the complete responsibility of Billing microservice, starting from tech solutions, work distribution, development, code reviews, testing, and production deployment. Rajeev's core expertise lies in Ruby on Rails and Python, and he practices other languages in his spare time. He is skilled in microservices, ETL, backend, frontend, CI/CD, MySQL, Flask, integration, and mobile development. He is passionate about coding and has nullified the lag that comes when a product requirement moves from the ideation phase to development completion. He has seamlessly done this on the fly while coding and has finished projects in better than the estimated time.
