Rajendra Acharya is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer specializing in the Telecom and Networking domain with over 11 years of experience. He has expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, shell, Python, and NPU Programming Language [EZChip NP5, NP4, NPS400], L2/L3 networking, and Linux. Currently working at Radisys Corporation, Rajendra is involved in the design, development, and testing of gateway selector for EPC in the cloud for CBRS spectrum sharing. He has implemented and validated the allocation/de-allocation of least loaded gateways during UE Attach and provided support for up to 5K UE Attach per second. Rajendra has also provided training on SDN, OpenFlow, OFDPA, ONOS controller internals, Mininet, Open Networking Linux, Open VSwitch, Broadcom Qumran-MX, and Barefoot Tofino for Packet Transport SDN. In his previous role as a Software Engineer Lead at Radisys, Rajendra was responsible for software design, development, and testing of software releases on Radisys ATCA based Load Balancing, Network Tap hardware. He provided training on the first release of Flow Engine software to FAE and Support team and was involved in customer debug sessions, providing appropriate solutions. Rajendra holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mobile Communication and Internet Technologies from Mangalore University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics & Communication from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He is proficient in RabbitMQ, Python, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and has relevant experience of 13.28 years.
