Rajesh Krishnan is a seasoned technology executive with over 26 years of experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry. Currently, he serves as the Board of Directors, Executive Council Member, and Treasurer of the India Electronics Semiconductor Association (IESA), where he is responsible for fostering growth in the semiconductor and ESDM industry in India. Prior to his current role, Rajesh worked at Samsung for over 15 years, where he started off developing handsets for Tier-1 US service providers and was responsible for launching Samsung's first 3G phone in the USA. He then moved on to establish Samsung's R&D center in Bangalore for the Memory business, where he grew the organization from the ground-up to more than 600 engineers. His primary focus was on technical contribution across various Flash memory applications in the Embedded, Card, and SSD domain. He also managed products that were deployed worldwide, with a key focus on firmware, software, hardware/controller IP design & verification, product qualification, and customer support across various products. Before Samsung, Rajesh worked at Hughes Network Systems as a Principal Engineer, where he worked on the Hughes Base stations deployed in Southern USA. He spent a major part of his time on the Spaceway Satellite project working on system design and various components like Payload management, Connection, Registration, Routing, Capacity, Provisioning, etc. Rajesh holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from the University of Maryland, an M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Mangalore University. He has a strong technical background in mobile technology and has been involved in the development of cutting-edge products throughout his career. Overall, Rajesh is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in the semiconductor and electronics industry.
