Rajib is an analytics professional with a strong academic background in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Chennai. He has over 3 years of experience in delivering insights, strategy, and management consulting by using statistical techniques like predictive modeling to build solutions that solve end-to-end business problems. He is currently working as a Deputy Manager at Shree Cement Ltd. (Data Science Team). Rajib is skilled in Python, R, MATLAB, Alteryx, Excel, Machine Learning, Business Model Development, and Statistical Model Building. He is looking forward to new opportunities to solve challenging business problems by leveraging his knowledge, experience, and interest in the field of Data Analytics. Rajib is an effective team player who wants to align personal goals with the organizational goals to bring out the best in oneself along with creating good impact in the growth of the company. In his previous role as a Data Scientist at Ford, Rajib developed the Market Demand Model (MDM) to provide Net Revenue plan, which helps the business team to take important decisions. He also developed the Variable Marketing (VM) Optimization to provide optimal allocation of the VM components. Rajib has extensive experience in performing data quality checks, analyzing data to provide timely, actionable & forward-looking insights to business, designing & implementing different econometric & statistical models to provide forward-thinking recommendations to business, developing new approaches to understand the business’s consumer trends and behaviors, and preparing reports & presentations to provide insights for business decision making. Rajib's education history includes a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from CMI and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Residential College. He is a Data Scientist with expertise in XGBoost, Python, ML, Research Scientist, and Neural Networks. Rajib has 4.78 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Analytics.
