Rajiv Kochumman is a highly experienced Senior Director at Salesforce, with over 23 years of relevant experience in the field. He is an expert in cloud computing and Salesforce, having worked with these technologies extensively throughout his career. Currently, Rajiv holds the position of Senior Director Software Engineering at Salesforce, where he is responsible for leading and managing teams of software engineers in the development of software products for the company. Prior to this, he worked at Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where he led the WebLogic Server Core container and Web-server plug-ins SE team, handling all team activities for the core team. Throughout his career, Rajiv has been recognized for his exceptional work and achievements. He received the Excellence award for Q1 FY2009 for solving a highly public 0-day security vulnerability while working at BEA Systems Inc. He also collaborated with Sun in hardening the IIOP protocol for correctly passing Enum over wire, and successfully worked on porting the plug-in code from Perforce to ADE, and automating the plug-in build (different OS-arch-webserver combinations). Rajiv holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M, College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from V.J.T.I., University of Mumbai. In addition to his extensive experience in Salesforce and cloud computing, Rajiv is also skilled in other areas such as Java, dotNET, test, and product management.
