Rajiv Ram V is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working at Apple as a Software Engineer, Rajiv has had the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from website and mobile applications to enterprise-grade services and brand development. Prior to his current role, Rajiv founded Ordaap, where he architected a multitenant messaging platform using MQTT and event-driven microservices for connecting guests with hotel staff. He developed key components of the system and signaling messages using Typescript, Node.js, and Google's protobuf. Additionally, he contributed to the development of frontend Progressive Web Applications built using ReactJS and developed a real-time web application for ordering food from the table using ReactJS and Firebase. Rajiv also established and made the team adept with a Git workflow and Jira for efficient collaboration and conducted regular sprint planning and team huddles. In his previous role as Lead Software Engineer at GQuotient, Rajiv architected and developed APIs with sub 30ms latency using Node.js and Postgresql stored procedures for fetching indoor map information. He maintained and added features to backend libraries and connectors to 3rd party services and databases. Additionally, he spearheaded efforts for creating a chatbot prototype for DevOps. Rajiv holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Industrial Biotechnology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy.
