Rajiv Ramachandran is a committed individual with high learnability who is excited to learn and solve problems using information technology. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and has two years of industrial experience in software engineering. Rajiv is currently working as a Software Engineer at Amazon where he has been involved in the integration of string localization libraries to enhance the website for 15+ locales to boost worldwide customer experience. He has also designed end-to-end verification strategies and incorporated them into a major service pipeline, which minimized deployment efforts and captured multiple bugs pre-production. Prior to Amazon, Rajiv worked as a Full-stack Developer at Infosys where he worked on the development of a single page application using JavaScript and SQL for a client from the shipping industry. He also worked on adding pagination and caching to improve the outlook and performance. Rajiv has also worked as an Architect at Nvidia, where he implemented security features, tested memory mapping and interrupt handling for the C++ model of an automobile chip, which was used for software driver development. He also added new cache metrics to the performance model of a GPU to study the practical impact of different replacement strategies for various use cases. Additionally, he designed and developed a configurable mechanism to extract, process, and visualize indicative parameters from 1000s of app trace run results (using Python), which aided in inefficiency identification, test prioritization, and architectural decision making for multiple GPU families. Rajiv has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a Computer Science Minor from NIT Tiruchirappalli. He also holds an All India Senior School Certificate Examination and an International General Certificate of Secondary Education + Secondary School Leaving Certificate. Rajiv's tech stack includes Software Engineer, Javascript, SQL, Integration, Java, and Senior Software Engineer.
