Rajkumar Sukumar is an ambitious software engineer who is fascinated by the wonders that 0s and 1s can create. He is currently working as an Application Engineer at Unacademy, where he introduced the fourth division of users to reduce the barrier for first-time programmers. He also designed a portal for users to create their private contests with problems of their choice and migrated the entire "host your contest" portal from EmberJS to ReactJS. Additionally, he built a CLI tool using PHP and integrated it with Nginx to manage the sites during maintenance. He integrated GitHub action pipelines for tasks including release-notes generation, code linting, and unit testing, and mitigated various security vulnerabilities ranging from XSS to SQL injections. Prior to joining Unacademy, Rajkumar was the Head of Tech Team at Anokha, where he managed a team of 10 students in building and delivering a suite of applications essential for organizing the techfest, including a mobile-friendly PWA based on NuxtJS, an android app, an API service built using Laravel, and an administration portal built using Angular8. He also worked as a Mobile App Developer at PSG Software Technologies, where he devised a cross-platform mobile app using NativeScript for maintaining health profiles of families in community areas of PSG Urban Health Centre and delivered the product. Rajkumar completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita University in 2021 and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. He also completed his Class 12 and Class 10 from Amrita University. Rajkumar's technical skills include software engineering, SQL, mobile app development, PHP, DevOps, ReactJS, and Android. He has 1.86 years of relevant experience and is actively looking for summer '23 SDE internships.
